Hot Hour Experience Team activity
Hot Hour Experience – a hectic training activity boosting teamspirit and teamwork
Hot Hour Experience is developed by the company Horisont and is available in Danish, Swedish, English, German and Icelandic. The activity comes in a bag with materials for 24 participants and 2 to 2.5 hours of activity.
Hot Hour Experience is an effective training tool for, among other things, team building, leadership development (all levels) and support of all profile tools (behavioral, learning, communication and thinking styles).
The activity was developed by 2 Danes, and it is currently used internally in several Danish companies and by consultants both in Denmark and abroad.
Hot Hour Experience simulates a hectic daily life, where participants in teams collaborate to set and achieve common goals.
Participants get an activity:
- With high participant activity,
- With a number of experiences that can be directly related to daily life,
- With insight into development opportunities, and
- With positive energy and a desire for development.
The instructor working with Hot Hour Experience gets an activity that:
- Has great flexibility, and can therefore be adapted to a wide range of development and training activities.
- Requires short preparation time.
- Is quick to set up and quick to pack again, and
- Has a high participant acceptance.
Six very different tasks are the basis for the game, and each group plans its own goals, strategy and organization of the work. There are several ways to achieve the goal, and it is necessary to tackle difficulties that arise along the way.
The activity takes 2 to 2½ hours to complete, including participant reflection and debriefing.
One bag covers up to 24 participants (from 1 to 4 groups with 4-6 participants in each group), and with multiple bags the activity can be completed for several hundred participants.
